Awake can basically be summarized by the following quote from it's producer Bruce Clem:
“To achieve great things you must live as though you are never going to die… all of these incredible places and people in this film have all been a part of my life. Step into my eyes for a brief moment of time.”- Bruce Clem.
And that's what Awake is all about. You get to travel behind the lens with Bruce Clem as he lives with, travels with, and rides with some of the most legendary and progressive riders in wakeboarding.
Let Clem take you to Europe, New Zealand, all over the USA, and of course to Lake Pickett in Florida for great riding and a relaxed vibe.
Besides progressive riding from some of the sport's best, you'll also see outstanding wakeskating from Brian Grubb, Scott Byerly, and Drew McGuckin.
Only with the riding, you'll get to see what these pros do off the water whether it's partying, skateboarding, or just hanging out. Awake won't get you pumped to ride with it's mellow style, but it's a great film to kick back and relax to until you can get on the water again.
The music consists of laid-back island beats and mellow rap tracks. The style of the music lends itself favorably to the style of the video. While in most videos I prefer fast, hard music; the music in this video fits perfectly. Some of the artists are Revival, 9 Miles, and Cyne.
